With only a handful of organic vodkas on the market, and even fewer cucumber-flavoured vodkas on the shelves, Square One's Organic Cucumber Vodka is the latest must-have at your next cocktail party
Coupled with most Australians ‘going green’ and the demand for organic produce so high it’s little wonder there is a demand for organic Vodka. Square One and Square One Cucumber are the world’s first USDA-certified organic vodkas made with 100% eco-sensibility. With a growing emphasis on quality produce and natural ingredients, this perfectly distilled creation is like nothing else.
Each element of Square One is uniquely distinctive, from its female ownership and operation (a rarity in the spirits industry), to its comprehensive community and environmental sustainability.
Square One’s creator and owner, Allison Evanow, says “Square One brings an eco-sensibility to the main cocktail ingredient – spirits. We start at square one, farming our rye without the use of harmful chemicals and take that philosophy all the way through our distillation, eco-friendly packaging and green business practices”.
Now available in Australia and imported exclusively through Vanguard Luxury Brands, Square One has three varieties to tantalise taste buds; the unflavoured traditional rye, the delicious cucumber version (both with a RRP $75 - $80) and the esoteric Botanical, infused with 8 organic botanicals - pear, rose, chamomile, lemon verbena, lavender, rosemary, coriander and citrus peel (RRP approx $85)
The Botanical is ideal with ginger beer and a float of St-Germain elderflower liqueur. The Cucumber Vodka is great on its own, with a mixer, or used in cocktails. Cocktail enthusiasts should try out this take on the classic Mojito, as created Square One’s creator and owner, Allison Evanow.
