Kylie Minogue to star in lesbian werewolf thriller

Ultimate pop goddess Kylie Minogue is returning to acting in a movie described as a "lesbian werewolf thriller".
The 42-year-old was spotted dressed down in a grungy cropped top, grey ripped jeans and black ankle boots as she shot a cameo for the film Jack and Diane in New York following her surprise appearance with the Scissor Sisters at Glastonbury.
Minogue's acting credits include roles in Streetfighter, Sample People, The Delinquents, Bio-Dome and cameo roles in the films including Diana and Me and Baz Luhrmann's Moulin Rouge. Her TV credits include Charlene in Neighbours, Astrid Peth in Doctor Who, and a guest role in Kath & Kim.
Minogue spoke about her desire to return to acting with US Magazine Blackbook earlier this year.
"As a ‘pop star,’ I’ve created this world for myself, and it becomes very natural to stay inside of it, but I’d love to do some independent films."
"It’s still very early, but I’m in the process of choosing between specific parts."
"I have big ambitions, but I’m really quiet about it. What’s that saying? 'Never let people know how much you know.'"
Minogue's 11th studio album, Aphrodite hits is in stores Monday July 5.
